Melissa and Doug Puppet Theater...
Parents' Review: 5 Stars for Wonderful, 1 Star for Terrible:
Assembly: 2 Stars "Assembly was not simple with the one. However, we weren’t expecting it to be. It is a mini theater. It required and adult only assembly with screwdrivers and such. We really had to ask our daughter to leave us alone while we put it together. This was not necessarily difficult but tedious none the less."
Fun Factor: 5 Stars, " We’ll give this a five. Our kids love it. Even my one year old acts like he’s putting on a play. It’s really nice to have something in the house that all of our kids enjoy. Our four year old was completely excited and could not wait for this to be built. We put it together a couple of days after bringing it home and she harassed us every second until it was done. It’s really fantastic for our kids. She and her brother love to play with it. They are constantly putting on shows. And the funny thing is we don’t even have puppets to go with it. They use toys or stuffed animals to put on little plays. We’ve had it about four weeks now and every weekend when Grandma comes over on Saturdays they are waiting at the door to put on a play. They both can barely contain their excitement."
Educational Factor: 4 Stars, "This toy certainly encourages imaginative play and role playing. It also encourages team building exercises. I have no doubt this toy will be a favorite for some time to come. It’s their favorite pass time with Grandma, that’s for sure."
Novelty Factor: 3 Stars "Well, I wouldn’t call this unique as I’ve seen them before and we’ve made makeshift puppet theaters in the house to put on plays with sheets and such before this came along. But it’s enjoyable for the kids to have the real thing."
