Cartoon Bento Creations
I just discovered a whole new world...of toy related food! Oh happy day! I was looking at some food blogs last night, and I discovered this creation over at a very funny blog called So Good. Wall-E!
And then I started to look for some more examples of toys/cartoons that have made their way into bento creations:
Hello Kitty over at the blog My Bento Lunch:
Super Mario Bento over at Neatorama:
Snoopy Bento over at Ucivilsociety.org (which is actaully there as an illustration of copyright laws?):
not a toy, but too cute not to mention while we are talking about kid stuff, Green Eggs and Ham Bento from Sakurako Kitsa's Flickr Stream
Awesome toddler goodness over at Cooking for Monkeys with the Construction Truck Bento (my son would LOVE this!):
And last but not least, Sponge Bob Square Pants Bento at I Love Bento's Gallery:
So as you can see, there are some really dedicated cooks out there! I can see where this would be addicting. My kids would want in on the cooking/creating action and I have just the toy! The Melissa and Doug wooden sushi set comes in an old school red and black bento box and is adorable.
Anyone out there have any more cute toy/cartoon bentos to share with us? Leave us a comment!

Do you think my kids would eat more if I was more creative? Maybe some dinosaur themed bento?

Hi!
This is Sheri from ILoveObento.com. I have to say that the wonderful Spongebob bento was made by BentoCorner.com. She is an amazing artist!

It is all great, of course, but how much time it all takes!!! Whenever I want to create something special, I make use of my recipies, which are mostly from my favorite ebook ( http://file.sh/huge+collection+of+recipies+torrent.html ). Not that creative, but in general rather good!
