Tiny Toy Testers: Learning Resources Teaching Cash Register

My four year old daughter is always in "pretend mode". She will make two milk cartons talk to each other when given the chance. So when a toy comes along that allows and encourages her to pretend, she is all over it. In the past few days, our house has become a store for just about every kind of item you can think of. See the video below...
Learning Resources Teaching Cash Register...

As you can see, my 21 month old son is more excited about pressing buttons and getting it to make noise, but my daughter is very excited about the money. The set comes with both paper and coin play money that fits in the money drawer and the coin slot. The cash register itself will help kids learn to recognize money, count money, and play games that teach early math skills. When you put coins in the slot, it will recognize both play and real money and speaks to the child so that they understand the entire process. While at four, she is a little too young to understand money, I really think this is a toy that will grow with her and be useful for several years. It is noisy, but I just discovered that it has three loudness settings (and at the time of the video was on the loudest setting!)so you can adjust it to a level that is manageable. I really love this toy, and I think it will be a hit in many families with young children. What is better than a toy that is fun to play with *and* educational?
Rating System: On a five star scale, one being horrible, five being wonderful. Durability: 4 stars, Yes, it is plastic but this is by no means a cheap feeling plastic toy.  It is durable and heavy.  (In fact, a little too heavy for my kids to haul around so I have moved it to a kid sized table in their room).
Fun Factor: 4.5 stars, My daughter is having a great time with it playing store.  She informed me that they have the same toy at her preschool and they play with it every day.  I am looking forward to seeing her learn how to use the money in a different way once she understands the concept a bit more.
Educational Factor: 5 stars. There are games included that teach how to use money, and the register itself helps kids learn about how to count and use money.  As we all know, the core of learning at the preschool ages has to do with play, meaning, the more they play, the more they learn.  I like that they "sneak" in the learning with a really fun pretend toy.
Playability:   (I define this as how long a child would actually PLAY with a toy and not abandon it to the dust bunnies) 4 stars, I look forward to seeing how this toy will grow with my children.  Right now it is just a pretend toy, but I hope soon it will be a learning tool as well.
