The Melissa and Doug cutting food set comes in under the $15 mark, too. My daughter got it for Christmas last year when she had just turned two, and it's one of the few toys she still plays with. I know this is a little bit more htna $15, but if you have a game lover, I recommend this game, Who Lives Where Memory and Matching Game. http://www.amazon.com/Lives-Where-Wooden-Memory-Matching/dp/B00011F5LM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=toys-and-games&qid=1227753335&sr=1-1 It's another gift she got last year that gets played nearly once a day still. Even her dad and I enjoy playing it, and we don't always win. It's worth the $19.99 price tag and more!
